Family Session: Home.

One of my favorite and least favorite things about my neighborhood is that everyone knows each other, but people are constantly moving in and out.  We have a huge military community, and this is my second session in just a few weeks for a family headed to their next home base!

This boy has the best facial expressions.

Sisters: Arlington, VA.

When this mom asked me to photograph her girls in their Indian clothes, I was excited.  The girls are lovely and made me excited that my own little girl will have a sister in a couple months.

You can see their whole session here or on Facebook.  Sessions for August are filling up, but I have some availability in early September.

Old Town Alexandria: Family Photos.

Old Town, Alexandria is one of my favorite places to walk around, grab a bite to eat, or just enjoy people watching.  On Sunday morning, I had the opportunity to photograph this family in one of my favorite Old Town gardens.  This sweet little boy recently turned three and was super excited to show off his climbing skills, worm finding abilities, and sweet smile.

And he wanted to show off his Cowboys jersey, but he's still cute.

I've known these three sisters for a long time, and it's fun to see them grow up, get married, and adore this little boy.

You can see the whole gallery here.  Don't forget to follow along on Facebook.

Ellie.

Occasionally, I like to show you my own little girl.

Getting her to wear her glasses was nearly a year long process.  She got her first pair in May 2014.  She started wearing glasses consistently in April 2015.

And I have to admit, I love those glasses!  Even when she is a hot mess from staying up until 10 pm and still waking up at 5:30.
