When a family of four becomes a family of five and grandparents are visiting from across the country, it's a great time to document the ages and stages of the kids with a photo session. Big brother and sister were troopers in spite of a chilly morning (one of the first this year!) and the baby was so cooperative! We sought out fall colors and actually found them!
The same baby that spent last year's session giving me thumbs ups and cracking me up was back in front of my camera, a full fledged toddler and still full of sass and sweetness. Her parents are absolutely wonderful to work with - they go with the flow and are so full of love for their sweet girl. And all that love absolutely shows on camera.
This session falls under the category of "third time's a charm." We rescheduled once for a head injury (my husband) and once for rain, but we finally got a beautiful day. Although the kids weren't into posing for long, they were VERY into a dance party which made for some fun candids!
While 2017 is more or less full, I am excited to book Spring 2018 nice and early!
The first thing I thought when I saw this mama-to-be is that she looked absolutely perfect. Her family will be welcoming a baby girl, and her look was simply flawless in a pink dress with a big bow! Big brother-to-be and dad were pretty great, too.
Although we were scheduled for Carlyle House, we had a change of plan thanks to a wedding, so we were off to Market Square and the surrounding area! I love Old Town for that reason. There are so many great locations in such a small area. As 2017 is filling up, it's a fantastic time to book maternity and newborn photos for 2018. I have slots for babies born every month except for April!
The first time I photographed this sweet family was only a year and a half ago, but this girl has grown up so much! (Also, why are sixth graders so cute now? Does anyone else look at these and wonder how kids now are adorable while we were so dorky?)
We searched for Fall all over Ft. Ward Park. We found a few colorful leaves and beautiful light!
