After rescheduling a few weeks before due to rain, this session was much anticipated. Brother and sister had a blast throwing leaves and playing, building fairy houses and exploring the beauty of Ft. Ward Park.

This session was scheduled ages ago, and it was so fun to see the vision turn into reality. Two big sisters welcomed little brother several months ago, and it was wonderful to watch all three kids interact. One of my favorite locations in some beautiful light... I was happy as can be!
Little C's mom contacted me to take family photos in honor of her first birthday. This girl was made to be in front of the camera. She spent the majority of the time clapping for herself! Love just oozed out of this family, and there is laughter in just about every photo.
These boys were just as fun as last year, if not more so. Throwing leaving, finding sticks, and running around the Grist Mill made for a beautiful morning full of perfect light.
This session was a fun treat. A couple weeks prior, I'd rescheduled a session leaving a prime time open. This family took advantage and it was a completely adorable afternoon. Their sweet baby was cheerful, despite high winds! She played with the leaves, crawled around, and snuggled with mom and dad. I couldn't believe how cooperative she was!
I love working with the same families every year! This session started out getting re-located multiple times. First, we planned for the Rose Garden, but there was a Zombie Run. Fortunately, the Zombie Ad showed up on my Facebook, so we decided to move to Potomac Overlook. Well, the morning featured 20 mph plus winds, so we made a last minute call to relocate to Ft. Ward Park and it was a great decision!
We had a fantastic time, and it was the start of a very busy weekend! More to come soon!
