Before your session:
A little planning goes a long way! Whether it's casual, posed, or just being silly, I want you to love your images.
Clothing: Comfort is key, and I'll do whatever I can to help you and your family feel comfortable in front of the camera. You want to look good but also feel natural. Here's all my top tips for dressing to make the most of your session! I love this series of posts with great color combinations for families. Let me know if you'd like my focus to be black and white shots.
Makeup: Matte finish is your friend! Any of that beautiful glow might look a little too shiny, so think powder. A little drama is fun, but make sure you are comfortable. Let your lovely self show!
Location: If you’re living in Bogota, your home is a great option. The city also offers so many parks and green spaces that finding a location is easy. My favorite DC/NOVA photo locations include Old Town Alexandria, Union Market and any other location significant to you!
During your session:
Fun shows up on the camera. Enjoy each other's company. Laugh. Be silly.
Don't worry about your kids acting perfect. Generally, smiling adults make for beautiful photographs. I love to capture your family, exactly as they are. That may not mean beautifully posed toddlers if the toddlers don't want to pose, but it will always mean your reality and beauty and fun!
After your session:
Within a couple days of your session, a sneak peek will be posted to my social media channels to give you a taste of the fun images to come!
Within ten days of your session, I will send you a link to your gallery and a download link if you've purchased a digital package. You will also receive a link to install your gallery as an app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. Each image is individually edited to achieve a specific look and mood. Once you have your link, you can use that link to order downloads, prints, books, or to share via social media.
Client galleries can be found here. Even if it's been months since your session, you can order holiday cards via your gallery - just click “Buy Photos” and follow the prompts to make your cards!
